About BPN Architects
BPN Architects focus on the projects that define towns and cities. All our work contributes to the vitality and diversity of placemaking. We have a growing reputation for producing elegant, cost effective and sustainable architecture. Our buildings respond to context, function and budget.
We enjoy the process of developing design briefs with our clients, other consultants, artists, communities and the end-users of projects. This collaborative approach produces a shared understanding of the functions and ethos of the scheme. The essential simplicity and consistency of the buildings and urban designs we produce reflects our analytic approach and our ability to relate form and place.
We established our practice in 1996, bringing together architects who share ideas about the urban regenerating possibilities of architecture. We have evolved a powerful and consistent approach to the design of buildings and places that is proving successful. Design ideas emerge from the interaction between analysis and intuitive response. We consider massing, enclosure, openness, forms and materials, and appraise all of our ideas in relation to the objectives, such as cost and sustainable design.
BPN Architects is an award winning chartered practice founded by Mark Bryant, Larry Priest and Richard Newman. Our commissions range from single dwelling houses to multi million pound commercial schemes. We have a proven track record of gaining planning permission for a wide range of projects and locations. Our projects have received awards for design, regeneration, innovation and construction.
