This 5 storey apartment building is built within the larger Albion Square development in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, and comprises 63 one and two bedroom apartments arranged around a landscaped courtyard and car parking for 64 cars. The scheme provides affordable shared ownership apartments for key workers in the area.
The scheme is load bearing construction and was built for as little as £850 per sq. m. fully fitted out. The elevations have a simple composition using 2 different bricks, large window openings and a highly modeled façade to create the architectural language and rhythm.
